Low Testosterone Quiz

The ADAM questionnaire is a quick, widely-used screen for symptoms that can be linked to low testosterone. Answer ten yes/no questions for an instant result. This is a screen, not a diagnosis — private, nothing stored.

How the ADAM screen works

The screen is considered positive if you answer "yes" to question 1 (sex drive) or 7 (erections), or "yes" to any three other questions. A positive screen simply means it's worth a conversation with your GP and possibly a blood test — it does not confirm low testosterone.

⚕️ A screening questionnaire only. Symptoms overlap with many other causes (stress, sleep, thyroid, depression). Only a blood test ordered by a doctor can assess testosterone. Speak to your GP if symptoms bother you.
Questions
Is the ADAM test accurate?

It's sensitive (catches most cases) but not very specific — many positive screens turn out to have normal testosterone. It's a prompt to seek testing, not a diagnosis.

What causes low testosterone?

Ageing, obesity, poor sleep, certain medications and medical conditions. A GP can investigate and advise.
